With today's full moon the DJIA closed at an all-time high just below 5700 that was unconfirmed by virtually all of the other major stock market averages, e.g., the Transports, the Utilities, the S&P, etc. Thus, as Chris Carolan's Spiral Calendar predicted long ago, collective expectations may be peaking with this Passover full moon/lunar eclipse, i.e., we may be at the final Grand Supercycle top in stock prices right now (contact Elliott Wave Int'l in Gainesville, GA for more information). If we are at the peak, then an unprecedented collapse in mass mood that should eventually take the form of global war is imminent. Adams April 5th, 1996 -The Lunar Eclipse Grand Supercycle Peak- There are important reasons to believe that stock prices and collective expectations reached the "Grand Supercycle" peak with the April 3rd full moon/lunar eclipse. As noted in previous articles, this Passover full moon was highly significant because it involved a total lunar eclipse (visible in the United States) that was conjunct Mercury and Mars and squared (90-degree angle) by Jupiter. This lunar eclipse came in the wake of a relatively tight five-planet alignment with new moon and Spring Equinox on March 19th/20th. The DJIA reached a possible all-time intraday high above 5700 with this prior new moon/planetary alignment, reversed slightly, and then climbed to a possible all-time closing high with the full moon/lunar eclipse on April 3rd that was not met with closing highs in most of the other major indexes, including the Transports (such "non-confirmations" suggest a turning point). Another feature of the April 3rd full moon that is of great importance is that it marked a critical series of "Spiral Calendar" anniversaries. The Spiral Calendar is a special lunar calendar developed by Chris Carolan that is based upon lunar cycles and large- scale Fibonacci timing relationships. According to this calendar, early-April- particularly April 2nd- of this year was a critical anniversary (keep in mind this is according to lunar cycles) of low points in mass mood and stock prices that occurred in August 1982 (starting point of current bull market), October 1987 (crash low), January 1991 (low prior to start of Gulf War), January 1993 and April 1994 (primary low of most recent major correction). Accordingly, Carolan has been predicting a major turning point in early-April of 1996 for more than a year. Furthermore, Mr. Carolan has pointed out that the pattern in stock prices into the 1929 and 1987 tops are strongly analagous to the pattern that has developed into 1996, and the February 13th all-time highs in the S&P and NYSE indexes at Elliott Wave Supercycle upper trendlines in their respective long-term charts (logarithmic) occurred with key Spiral Calendar anniversaries of the 1929 and 1987 stock market tops. As Carolan sees it, a Spring crash should be imminent according to price patterns in the stock market, seasonal swings in mass mood and astroharmonics. Indeed, he highlights that April 5th, Good Friday, is the Spiral Calendar anniversary of the 1987 stock market crash. The question now is, what is going to cause a crash into the Spring? Or more so, what is about to cause a Grand Supercycle crash in the wake of the Grand Supercycle peak? -Heavenly Signs- I believe the answer to what will cause a Spring crash has already been revealed in the heavens. As I'm sure most of you are well aware, a final indication that the Spring Equinox new moon/planetary alginment and April 3rd full moon/lunar eclipse marked the Grand Supercycle peak in stock prices and ultimate turning point in human history is the Great Comet which appeared in the night sky between these two pivotal astronomic events. Comet Hyakutake, one of the largest and brightest comets in the last several centuries, passed by the Big Dipper, or the Great Bear (Ursa Major), between late-March and early-April. As explained in my article, "The Great Comet & The Great Bear", there is reason to believe that this comet portends the rise of a grizzly Russian bear. All together, the Spring Equinox five-planet alignment, the Great Comet and the April 3rd lunar eclipse reveal that America and the West, the current ruling powers, are about to be overtaken by the Great Bear, which represents Russia, through war. The alignment of Mercury, Mars and Saturn with the Spring Equinox new moon in Pisces in late-March signified a war against Israel and the Jews, which are represented by Saturn and Pisces. The Great Comet that appeared after this new moon/planetary alignment symbolized the coming rise of Russia. And, lastly, the April 3rd lunar eclipse which was conjunct Mars, the planet of war, and squared (90-degree angle) by Jupiter, the planet of rulers, implied a war against the ruling power and/or powers, i.e., America and the West. As explained in my "Global War" articles, the coming war against Israel, America and the West by Russia and the powers of the East might begin with a "Korean Diversion". I have persistently warned that a North Korean invasion of South Korea is imminent as part of a large-scale diversion. Specifically, be having Pyongyang ignite a major conflict on the Korean Peninsula at the beginning of world war three, Moscow is hoping to divert as much U.S. military force as possible into the Far East so that America will be unable to come to the defense of Israel. Thus, the way will be open for a jihad, or Holy War, against the Jews that is planning to be used as a trigger for global nuclear war and the ultimate destruction of America and the Western powers. -The Korean Diversion Begins- TOKYO, April 4 (Reuter) - North Korea announced on Thursday it was giving up its duties concerning ``maintenance and control'' in the demilitarised zone separating the two Koreas. A statement by the country's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said the North Korean Army was taking ``self defensive measures...now that the status of the demilitarised zone (DMZ) can no longer be maintained.'' The KCNA report, monitored in Tokyo, said the action was necessary because there had been flagrant violations of the armistice agreement. ``Firstly, the KPA (North Korean Army) side shall give up its duty, under the armistice agreement, concerning the maintenance and control of the military demarcation line and DMZ,'' the statement said. ``Secondly, the KPA side shall, as a follow-up step to the first measure, have its personnel and vehicles bear no distinctive insignia and marking when they enter the joint security area of Panmunjom and DMZ,'' it said. SEOUL, South Korea (Reuter) - South Korea Thursday lashed out at Pyongyang's announcement it would no longer recognize the buffer zone between the two sides, warning that it would retaliate against any military provocation by North Korea. ``The North Korean announcement, which is in line with remarks by North Korean Vice-Marshal Kim Kwang-jin on March 29...is the declaration that it will unilaterally scrap the armistice agreement and stage a new military provocation,'' a Defense Ministry statement said. ``This will never be tolerated.'' The statement, issued after an emergency meeting of security-related ministers, said Seoul would not tolerate any violation of the truce that ended the 1950-53 Korean War. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Kwon O-kie, was called after North Korea said it would not carry out its duty under the armistice agreement ``concerning maintenance and control'' of the Korean border and the Demilitarized Zone. The 2.5-mile zone, a key element of the truce agreement, is a buffer designed to discourage military confrontation. Kim Kwang-jin said last Friday: ``What is the point now is not whether a war will break out in the Korean peninsula or not, but when it will be unleashed.'' South Korea's Deputy Defense Minister Park Yong-ok said the North Korean announcement appeared aimed partly at pressing Washington to engage in direct military talks with Pyongyang. ``We make it clear that if North Korea launches a provocation in breach of the armistice agreement, we will immediately and sternly retaliate against such an act under the joint Korea-U.S. defense system,'' he told reporters. Earlier Thursday, South Korean President Kim Young-sam told troops near the border that North Korean provocations would ``only lead to their collapse.'' The U.S.-led United Nations Command said the North Korean move was ``a dangerous step.'' ``This action is the latest in a series of steps taken by the DPRK (North Korea) to unilaterally dismantle the armistice agreement since they withdrew from the military armistice commission (MAC) in April, 1994,'' a command statement said. The MAC is a watchdog body overseeing the truce. Since 1994, North Korea has also banned U.N. monitors from entering its territory and refused to hold plenary MAC meetings aimed at discussing truce violations. Pyongyang has indicated it wants to wash its hands of the truce arrangements and sign a bilateral peace treaty with Washington, shutting out South Korea. Washington has backed South Korea's stand that a peace treaty should chiefly be an inter-Korean affair, with only supporting roles for China and the United States, the two major outside forces that took part in the Korean War. A North Korean statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency said the North Korean Army was taking ``self defensive measures'' following South Korea's deployment of weapons and military facilities in the demilitarised zone. A Seoul official said he believed Pyongyang tried to raise tension on the peninsula in a bid to ``wring concessions from the United States as they did by raising nuclear threats a couple of years ago.'' North Korea signed a landmark nuclear accord in 1994 under which Washington promised economic and diplomatic assistance. Thursday's statements were made less than two weeks before President Clinton is due to make a brief visit to South Korea for talks with President Kim. Topping Clinton's agenda in the talks, scheduled for April 16, would be North Korea, according to Seoul officials. Adams March 26th, 1996 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken." (Jesus Christ: Luke, Chp.21; vs.25-26) As has been widely reported in recent days, a great comet, Comet Hyakutake, is currently passing by our world. This is the largest and possibly brightest comet to swing past the earth since the 16th century. In the night's sky one can see it running inbetween the Big and Little Dipper, i.e., Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. Historically, the appearance of comets has been interpreted as an omen for our world (see article below, "Comets known to portend tragedy"). While modern "rational" society may pass off such an association between astronomical events and world affairs as nonsensical superstition, there is reason to believe there may be a basis to such symbolic astrology. If, indeed, there is a God who governs this universe, then what better way to reveal His presence than portending our future with symbols in the night sky. This makes it as clear as possible who is truly "The Creator"- God, not man. To begin with, consider the following excerpt from Moira Timms' chapter on "Astrological Cycles" in her book, 'Beyond Prophecies & Predictions': If a star map is superimposed over the Earth with the pole star placed over the terrestial North Pole, we have a celestial clock making one revolution daily. The noon point of that map (like Greenwich) is the Great Pyramid of Giza. Thousands of years ago, Egypt was known as the Land of Khem. The Khema were a group of seven major stars (in the constellation of Taurus), known today as the Pleiades. If the map is placed with the Khema over the Land of Khem (Egypt)- specifically, directly over the apex of the Great Pyramid- then Taurus falls over the Taurus Mountains of southern Turkey; Ursa Major, the Great Bear, rambles over Russia; the head of Draco the Dragon coils up over China; Orion (the warrior) over Iran/Iraq; Aries the Ram over Rome, and Capricorn (identified with the god Pan) falls over Panama, Panuco, and Mayapan (the old name of the Yucatan). Aquila the Eagle spans the United States. The analogies are obvious, and quite impressive. This is one of the clearest examples of the law of "As Above, So Below". Given how certain constellations symbolize the nations that have emerged in our world, God may signal the rise and fall of given nations with heavenly signs associated with nations' respective constellations. An impressive example of this was pointed out in a long-forgotten book entitled "Cheiro's World Predictions" (1928). Cheiro, a famous astrologer during the early part of this century, noted in his book that, on June 8th, 1918, a bright supernova appeared in the constellation of Aquila the Eagle, which signifies the United States. As reported at the time: "The brightness of Nova Aquilae in its early days was greater than that of any Nova since the year 1604". What is even more remarkable is that June 8th saw the only solar eclipse in the year 1918, and this eclipse was conjunct Jupiter, the planet of rulers, and squared by Mars, the planet of war. The solar eclipse and supernova in Aquila the Eagle in early-June of 1918 coincided with the United States entering the Great War in Europe (i.e., World War I) at the time and the subsequent turning point in that war. By July of that year, American troops backed the Allies in starting to reverse the gains made by Germany and the Central powers up to that point, and, by November of 1918, the tide has turned completely with Germany's surrender and an Allied victory. Thus, a profound and rare astronomical event occurred- the supernova in Aquila the Eagle along with a solar eclipse- in June of 1918 that marked a critical juncture at which the United States started to become an important world power. American involvement in the European war in 1918 was the first time the U.S. took on the role of a world power. From that time on, the rise of the United States to the ruling world power of the contemporary age began. This historical turning point for America was reflected in the sky according to the law: "As Above, So Below". Now a great comet has appeared in the sky and is passing by the Big Dipper- the constellation of Ursa Major or the "Great Bear". As indicated by Moira Timms in the paragraph above, this constellation represents Russia. What is even more remarkable about this passing comet, however, is that it is appearing between an alignment of Mercury, Mars, Saturn and the Sun and Moon with the Spring Equinox on March 20th and a total lunar eclipse conjunct Mars and squared by Jupiter on April 3rd. Since Mars is the planet of war and Saturn is the planet of fate, some sort of prophetic war should be due. What is more, this war should be associated with the rise of Russia to the ruling world power as symbolized by Comet Hyakutake's pass by the Great Bear constellation. Indeed, the April 3rd lunar eclipse conjunct Mars and squared by Jupiter is like an antithesis of the June 8th, 1918 solar eclipse conjunct Jupiter and squared by Mars. Thus, in the way the prior eclipse marked how America became a world power with the first world war (and then second world war), maybe now Russia is going to become the reigning world power by way of a third world war against America. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Boston Herald March 24, 1996 "Comets known to portend tragedy." By Jules Crittenden Pestilence, famine, war and the fall of great leaders - that's what comets have meant for most of humanity's pitifully short existence. Take the Great Comet of 1811. Napolean should have been paying attention, but he wasn't, and the following year he lost most of his Grand Armee in Russia. Julius Caesar's murder by treachery in 44 B.C. was followed by the appearance of a comet dubbed Caesar's Crown Jewel. Halley's comet sparked fears of destruction when Earth passed through its tail in 1910 oddly, nothing happened. But Kohoutek showed up in 1973 - not a good time for Richard Nixon. Right now, the comet Hyakutake is coursing through our own northern sky. It should be easily visible tonight around 9 p.m., just below the Big Dipper, like a moon-sized, aquamarine-tinged piece of cotton candy, with a star-like core. "This is certainly the biggest comet I have ever seen," said Alan MacRobert of Sky & Telescope magazine. He spotted a dim tail leading off to the upper right and advises stargazers to head out of the city and use binoculars for the best view. As for consequences, it's not clear that Hyakutake bodes any ill for us. Former Boston Mayor Ray Flynn and House Speaker Charlie Flaherty are having their problems, but who's calling them great leaders? Bosnia's quiet and things are cooling off in the Taiwan Straits. "There will be pestilence, war and the downfall of great leaders in the future, if the future is anything like the past," MacRobert said. "But that has nothing to do with the comet. The comet is a ball of ice and dust that doesn't care anything about what happens on Earth." (Article for fair use only.)
