	Actually, the Merovingians, after the fall of their dynasty,
retreated to Scotland, where they were the organizing force behind the
clans.  

	Although the clans appeared to be continually fighting amongst
themselves, and although they appeared to be solidly defeated by the
English in 1745, this was actually a clever front for an organized
effort to subvert the ruling classes of Europe.  Now that the Scottish
have spread out all around the world, this silent conspiracy is proceeding
with ever-greater intensity.

	The origin of the Masons and the Illuminati can be shown to have
strong Scottish roots, and the Scottish clans were heavily intermingled
with the intellectual French of the 18th century, influencing them
towards an internationalist point-of-view.  Incidentally, the lines of    
thought that emerged from this cross-pollination lead to the rise of 
Napoleon.  All he was really doing was trying to bring about a single
world government.  However, he was two centuries before his time, and
this his attempt was a failure.

	As a proof that the Scottish worldwide are not simply a proud
ethnic group, I offer the following:  Many people are aware of Robbie
Burns Day, a day which, ostensibly, celebrates a great Scottish poet.
However, what people are *not* aware of is that, after eating their
haggis and playing their bagpipes, participants at the gatherings on
these occasions break off into conspiratorial cells, in which the plans
for the coming year's activity are disseminated.  

	Just think how many of the business and political leaders of our
time are of Scottish descent.  If asked, they'll attribute it to Scottish
thrift and hard work, but that's just a cover.  They've been placed into
those high positions by the same dark forces that have been gathering in
Scotland since the Merovingians fell.
